Most Franklin River trips take between five to ten days but some other rivers offer shorter duration rafting experiences.
For those who prefer a challenge that only nature can provide, the Grampians National Park in western Victoria provide hundreds of exciting climbs, especially on the rugged cliff faces of Mount Stapylton at the park’s northern end and Mount Rosea, just south of Halls Gap. However Australia’s best known climbing site is nearby Mount Arapiles, located near the small town of Natimuk.
